6/5/22Pos: We both ordered Celtic chicken, great amazing food fresh hot..Also got garden veg-baked patato-onion rings as side dishes all came out fast fresh tasty.. Highly Recommend coming with whole family great vibes and good prices ..live music jack the irish was great too8/5/22Neg: No table service if you sit outside so you sit their waiting watching everyone else get table numbers given to them to only gind out you need to walk in to order. Thats after been here 1 hr before opening. Still should give table service to your outside patrons. And had to wait 20min for 2 drinks not happy.Pos: Food is always freah and great.

We took the family during early October (after school holidays, but holidaying in Mandurah) for dinner on a Friday night and had a great experience. Waiting staff were friendly. Had many menu options that were all very tasty and big portions. I had the Irish Stew, which I loved. There was live music from a 1-man band, who did a great job and was fantastic towards my disabled daughter. Even got up and had a little dance in the tiny space in front and no-one complained and we were cheered on. Was happy noise of everyone gathered there. A couple of older men seated behind me sounded a bit grumpy with staff and seemed so with me, but that was their problem. There are board games, etc, in there, so I would think it would be a great spot to sit down for a long time, enjoy a meal, a drink and some friendship. Have been before when visiting the area and will gladly return again.

I used to love coming to this restaurant but these days the standard has declined. There is no pride left in the place. It's filthy. Food and grub up the walls where we were seated, tables sticky, window we were seated next to was dirty with food and the seat cushions were filthy. The food is still excellent and remains as good as ever but now we wonder how clean the kitchen is if the restaurant is so dirty.

We went to Friar Tucks for Sunday lunch me my wife and 2 kids on 25/6/23 . And I would have left reasonably happy if it wasn’t for the final act!!! so we ordered 4 drinks all soft drinks 35 dollars which was crazy expensive then food myself and my wife ordered the 3 course roast lunch special and my children ordered onion rings and a chicken burger 90 dollars . It was haft full so waited for a table to be cleaned and was seated .I immediately asked the waiter a young 16 year old lad what the dessert was on the 3 course lunch he very promptly, went and checked and came back and said it was Apple crumble with custard !! I said brilliant can you please make a note that I don’t eat custard I’ll just have the Apple crumble by itself Thank you he said no problem . service was very slow and it took a long time before our garlic bread came but it was reasonable and even longer for our main roast pork not bad it definitely tasted like it came out of a microwave but it was ok . My son didn’t eat his chicken schnitzel burger he said it tasted like fish obviously use the same fryer and my daughter said the onion rings were extremely greasy but all good so we finished our mains and waited and waited until I called over the waiter so he could organise our deserts and waited another 15 minutes at this stage we arrived at 1.30 pm it 3.20pm now so the deserts come out custard on the deserts all good the young lad who I spoke to service it he apologised and said I’ll get you another one .5 minutes later the waiter appears saying the chef won’t make another one because you’re on the three course special ? I said but I asked you well before the meal even started and if there’s a problem why didn’t this get communicated this before hand and if you like send the chef out to me and I’ll have a word with him/her the poor young lad probably 15,16 was shaking he didn’t want to go back to the kitchen he did but then never came back or told us what was happening we were ignored for 15 to 20 minutes. We sat there until we just got up and left not a tanks for coming how was everything nothing they purposely ignore the situation . Super disappointed and probably will tell everybody I meet how absolutely terrible that was.Anyway very poor quality of staff no leadership super expensive and definitely gone downhill since the new owners.

Food was great on a cold night. Husband enjoyed his sizzling chicken and I had a great beef cheek. Kilkenny on tap, everything you can need.

The rump I had was cooked to perfection. Great thick chips instead of those disgusting fries everyone serves. Lots of interesting Irish stuff and knick knacks around to check out. Not big but cozy. Would have liked to see the seat cushions cleaner and the really cool menus not sticky. Definitely a pub and not at all upmarket but in saying that the garden and entrance is lovely and the food is great.

We popped in on a Monday night, nice and quiet but still enough people to create a good atmosphere. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food (New Zealand mussels, the best garlic bread I’ve ever had, garlic mushrooms and calamari) amazing!!!!!!!!Can’t believe we’ve left it so long to check the place out. Will be back 100%
